Early on it was bums with apocalyptic signs. The end is coming!
Then it was the televangelists telling us too.
Time magazine’s impending ice age by the 80’s.
Then the hole in the ozone.
Then global warming.
Then climate change.
Then apocalyptic storm warnings.
Then severe weather warnings.

All of these things would surely wipe us out.
