I hit a beautiful purple radar spot in Amarillo a few years back. Man that was loud. I still have a few dings from that one.

Was about half way between Lubbock Amarillo when the radio switched to weather warning about hail. Stopped at a closed service station for awhile, and when it hit the ground looked like it was covered with golf balls and baseballs. With in 30 minutes the sun was back shining and a big rainbow towards Amarillo. As the hail melted we finally left after about 45 minutes.

Love weather threads. Fits right in with the home owners insurance thread. Bring it. Need a new roof.

I turned my sprinkler off for the year and turned the water off at the ballcock. It goes off every three days. It started right up this morning. I only have four stations around the house.
