Euro done with beetles

Anyone had this done? Thinking about dropping my deer head off to a guy in forney that does euro mounts using beetles. My boss has a deer and a hog done by him and they look awesome. And $100 sounds like a good deal.

They come out really good as long as they're properly degreased as well. $100 is a good deal. Cleaning skulls with beetles is not as hard on the bone as boiling and like I said if degreased right, you'll have a trophy preserved for a lifetime.

My lease partner has the beetles. He has done two antelope and one whitetail for me. Works out well for us I reload. He does not. He’s a young flat belly. I’m an old fat guy. He helps me setup and take down my ladderstands. I’m retired he works. I can go check the lease any day of the week. I can take his rifles and my own to the range 7 days a week if necessary. Makes for an excellent partnership. I’ll see if I can take a picture of one he has done. The stand/plaque comes from Taxidermist’s Woodshop in Texas.

Fire ants also work.

I've used both beetles and ants. Both work well.
