Have to have a Federal Permit for migratory birds if you are doing them for anyone other than yourself. I think thats about the extent of the regulations

Elpatoloco is correct. There is not a required license required in Texas other than migratory birds.

if you are doing work for clients then you will need a sales tax permit from the comptroller's office and you are suppose to register your business at the local courthouse.

thanks guys for all the info,
for now my wife has taken up the hobby and has been doing good so far, she has the duck out of its skin.
Just going to be a hobby for now lol

Also need to keep a cold storage log for anything getting pout into the freezers and Wildlife Resource Doc for 3 yrs
