New Hope 7th Annual Clay Shoot - April 30th

Time to start getting your teams together guys. Our 7th annual charity clay shoot is online and ready for registration. This is a great way to meet other forum members and come together for a great cause. We'll be serving world famous 407BB for lunch, and will have live and silent auctions again this year. You know my crew will be there with a side bet this year.

My crew last year…me and my sons with pre-1950 shotguns! We may not be competitive but we have one hell of a fun time!

This year we’re going one more step back in time focusing on pre-1910 guns shooting black powder!

One of the things that I’m considering is bringing extra shells and charging $20 for four shells and let people shoot these old guns at the trap stations by the clubhouse after the shoot during lunch with 100% of the proceeds going to the charity…

Anyone interested in blowing smoke out of an old shotgun to support a great charity?

Got over a dozen and some nice knives and whisky so far. That’s great progress this early.

Just had a rifle donated, so auction is going to have some nice stuff for sure. Might just raffle off the rifle. Let me know your thoughts.

Will rifle raffle tickets be sold at the event or just prior leading up to?

I don’t know about online but I know in the past people that couldn’t make it were on the phone with someone who was there bidding for them. There will be several members there who could be on the phone with you when items are being auctioned….

How Proxy Bidding Works.

if you can't make the clay shoot, what I need is your contact info (Full name, address, email, cell#) and the maximum amount you'd like to bid on an item. I'll be publishing a catalog of all the auction items, and proxy bids can be taken on anything, including the deer hunt. One of our volunteers will then bid at the auction against any other live bidders on your behalf, not to exceed your max bid. After the auction they'll call and let you know if you won anything and what the winning bid was. I will stop accepting proxy bids at 9pm the night before the shoot. PM me if you have any more questions.

Started working on the 12g brass….will have 150+

And about 100 16g black powder for the old guns….

This was the first clays match i have ever shot. It was a lot of fun. I would have started shooting shotguns years ago, If i knew it was as fun as it is. I love how fast the pace is. not a lot of sitting around and no target pulling like F/Class. I will be back
