Axis backstrap

Axis backstrap - 10/02/22 09:18 PM

This is my last backstrap from last year my wife shot an Axis late in the season. Lately we have been leaving the backstrap whole and cooking it like a tenderloin. It came out pretty darn good!

Looks great, know that had to be good food.

Cooking whole or just cut into 3 parts then froze to thaw out and cook whole is the only way I have done back strap in years until the wife wanted to a chicken fried meal one night so did some that way.
