Man vs. Woman - Prime Rib Conundrum??

The wife came in the other day and was all upset that a vacuum-packed prime rib bag had leaked, and was all puffed up. She said "we have to eat it now". Being logical, and knowing it was frozen solid, my first thought was "Gee, let's re-package it again". Being smarter than that, I said "You are right dear, I will season and cook it for Sunday dinner!!!" Win-Win at 225 degrees.

I'm a sucker for a center cut prime rib. Darn good idea you had there, dear!! Except for choosing me, she's got pretty good taste!!!

Seared 25 minutes at 500, then cooked 3 hours at 225 degrees, and wrapped and let sit for one hour, while I baked potatoes and did mushrooms and salad.

Speechless.
