Chicken Spaghetti Casserole

Chicken Spaghetti Casserole - 05/28/22 01:48 AM

Bought an 1970 Toyota Land Cruiser and today was work outside day, before the rain and snow settled in. Cut about 60# of ranch steel off the bumpers this morning, then pressure washed for 4 hours in the wind. Needed something warm and easy by the time I was done!!

Sautéed chicken pieces, bacon, mushrooms, cheddar and mozzarella cheese, cream of mushroom soup, heavy cream, and Al dente spaghetti. All mixed and backed 40 minutes at 350 degrees. Belly warming hood!!!

My wife used to make this, a batch would last a few days. Had to give it up due to low sodium diet bang

I think you could watch it pretty close, and get it pretty low in sodium. Now gluten-free, that's another subject!!!

She’s been using low sodium chicken stock lately for certain recipes. The canned soups is where a lot of sodium comes into play.

I never worried about it, but the MIL needs low sodium now. I don't cook with salt, only pepper and spices, and always buy low sodium options for canned foods now. Haven't noticed any difference in tastes either!!

The wife use to make it when the kids were till here, always enjoyed up
My favorite was a Tuna Casserole she use to make it with egg noodles, broccoli, watercress, sharp cheddar cheese, and French fried onions on top, dayum that was good stuff.
