Prime Beef Filets, and Grilled Shrimp

Prime Beef Filets, and Grilled Shrimp - 04/05/22 12:19 AM

Had to got to Sam's Club for water softener salt and cases of water for the wife. Looked in the meat section, and they had a package of prime beef tenderloins that were discounted to sell today. Going out to dinner at home tonight!!!

Bacon-wrapped grilled beef tenderloins, buttered Old Bay shrimp, baked sweet potatoes, and corn. Had a long lost package of Halloumi high-temp cheese to grill also. As Jimmie Walker would say "Dyne-O-Mite!!" smile

That looks fantastic!
What is the purpose of cutting the ends off of the sweet potatoes?

Two reasons to cut the ends off sweet potatoes. 1. Some have really long skinny ends, without a lot of edible potato, and they kinda get in the way if you try to do a lot of them. 2. That's the way my Mom taught me, when I was growing up!! smile
