Reminds me of the old fashion way of skipping the grill and going directly through the pan.
That’s what I did. Put a cast iron griddle in the oven to 500 degrees, then on the stove top fire. About 2.5 oz balls of meat, smashed flat on the griddle for about a minute, flip, immediately put cheese on one, about 30 seconds, stack and on the bread.
Quick, cheesy, and delicious.
I don’t like fat patties so they are perfect for me.
