My buddy does the ground meat if I want some. I don’t have a grinder. This one had a little bacon added to It.

Reminds me of the old fashion way of skipping the grill and going directly through the pan.

That’s what I did. Put a cast iron griddle in the oven to 500 degrees, then on the stove top fire. About 2.5 oz balls of meat, smashed flat on the griddle for about a minute, flip, immediately put cheese on one, about 30 seconds, stack and on the bread.
Quick, cheesy, and delicious.
I don’t like fat patties so they are perfect for me.

Love venison burgers, or any ground venison in whatever we cook! Always mix about 1-10 bacon to venison when we grind. Only time I don’t add bacon is for jerky!!!!!

Had to play copycat on the griddle last night after seeing your post. These were home ground venison cut with ~20% beef fat.
