Made a bunch of smoked turkey salad last week, to have on big croissants. Finished off the salad, but had a handful of the rolls left, and they were starting to get hard. Great breakfast stock tho!!
Chopped them all up and layered in a greased pan, and put about two cups of blackberries and blueberries all over it. Mixed up a pack of cream cheese, 1/2 cup sugar, 2 eggs, vanilla, and some half/half. Poured it all over the top, making sure to hit each piece with the mix. Put in the fridge and let it soak up all that goodness overnight. Popped in the oven covered for 30 minutes at 350 degrees, and uncovered for another 10 minutes. A little powdered sugar glaze, and it's Heaven. Think Cream Cheese Danish, times 10!!
