Score Today at the Thrift Store

Enjoy cooking in my various cast iron cookware, and loved visiting with Cast (RIP) on different methods and recipes. I always look for cast iron when I go thru these places. Today I was able to get a couple of really old well made frying pans for $4 each (pre-Lodge and Cabelas), and a nice French-made enameled dutch oven for $20. Eventually, I will have a full complete set in the house, the RV, and in the outdoor tent camping gear!!!

Those cast irons look to be seasoned really well.

NIce score. My kids like to thrift so I go quite a bit. You can find some pretty good stuff on the cheap. Cast iron, Fiestaware and older made in USA hunting / camping gear is what I'm generally after.

Love cooking out of cast iron, especially on a gas range. We have amassed a collection as well. Just wanna find a flat skillet and a grated skillet those are the only pieces I’d like to add.
