Rotisserie chicken - 11/06/21 10:08 PM

Birthday is Monday so my wife got me the rotisserie for my kamado joe. So to start off we’re gonna do two chickens. We’ll see how they turn out

Looks good. Does it turn and then reverse? I see that you have a probe inserted and wondered how that works.
Very nice birthday present, by the way.

It turns one way. The probe is for the temp in the grill as I have a fan that controls the fire.

So how does it keep from winding around the spit?

It looks like it’s in the chicken but it’s not. It is just hanging inside the grill so I know what temp the inside of the grill is. And then the fan can come on to bring the fire up. The picture is hard to tell but the probe is not in the meat.
