Hearty Breakfast - Southern Style

Hearty Breakfast - Southern Style - 10/22/21 03:00 PM

A little more time this morning, and a LOT hungrier! Girls were ready too. smile

Tennessee/Kentucky pepper bacon, eggs, and long cooked grits, with butter and melted cheddar cheese. One of my Dad's favorites; he never liked cheese grits, but loved sharp cheddar melted all over the top!!!

I love my eggs to be done, but still runny goodness. The real key is a little butter, and low to medium heat. I like to use a silicone spatula on most things in a pan, instead of a hard sharp steel one. That's reserved for smash burgers on the grill.
