smoking some ribs and want temp set to 250 so that is what I set my pellet cooker at
Temp will not go to and stay on what I set it at - to get it up to 250 I have to place setting on 300 - anyone else have this issue?

Clean the ash bucket under the burner if there is one (My camp Chef has one).
Unplug unit or do a reset and start over.
Can you see/hear pellets being moved by the auger?

some times they may accumulate ash in the pot where the pellets burn. I've had mine flame out then flare up later so I usually shop vac all the ash etc out of the pot about every other week.

I thought the point of these things were they didn't have issues?
