Filet

Filet - 08/21/21 12:22 AM

6oz Sous vide filet, over the top of a potato pancake loaded with: garlic, salt, pepper, rosemary, and goat cheese. I wasn’t happy with the sear tonight, I had the grill up to almost 700°, just one of those days I guess.

I followed this Potato Pancake somewhat, but I'd look for another one if I were to try it again. I should have let the mashed potatoes get cold so they would firm up. Well I was pressed for time and I didn't, I don't know if I would make them again unless I had leftover mashed potatoes that sat over night. When I thought about doing them it sounded great, I just didn't execute it well.
