Portobello Mellow, and Filets

Portobello Mellow, and Filets - 05/10/21 12:59 AM

I think there’s a law somewhere that you have to cook one of your best meals of the year for the wife, and Mother of your kids. At least that’s what Sweet Tooth tells me. Ended up with cream cheese, herbs, and pork sausage stuffed portobellos with a whole hand-trimmed tenderloin tip. I think it will make a turd!! Little grill is trying it’s best. smile

Turned out great, and the little grill did good. Properly done ports are almost like steak anyways, and so we did all the trims and ends. Saved the nice steaks for later in the week. Fresh grilled toast and crumbled Gogonzola, with a Crown and Coke!! Thinking dessert already. smile

Just keep asking the wife “What do you want for dinner?” When she says “I don’t care” , then just wing it!!! smile
