Turkey time - 04/28/21 06:37 PM

Oldest is home sick from school so daddy got a day off... kind of lol.

Had a turkey thawed out in the fridge to break down. Had fried turkey wings for lunch, got the breasts brining in the fridge to bake for dinner and the thighs legs and carcass boiling for turkey tortilla soup coming up.

Lunch was good

Thanks for the well wishes, he seems to be on the mend.

Brined the breasts for 4 hours and baked in a cast iron skillet with gravy from the drippings... all waiting because the better half forgot to start the rice and veggies. I have sampled, it’s good.

Wings are one of my favorites for sure, be it baked, fried, or smoked, just about any way I can think of I like wings.
