That’s old, but if you wrapped it well it may be just fine.

Any visible evidence of freezer burn? If not it is probably still good. Cut off a small piece of it and cook, if it is good you are good to go, if not dog food

If it’s not freezer burnt it will be fine to eat.

Yes, there is no such thing as "old". Just good or bad. Some stuff lasts 6 months, some is 2-3 years. If vacuum-sealed or wrapped tightly and frozen solid, it is still good.

If freezer burned, no good for anything or anybody. I love our pets more than that, if I wouldn't eat it, why should they!

I’ve eaten older.

Smell it once it thaws, cube it up for some stew.

A friend pf mine worked in cold storage at Dyess AFB, this is where the meat comes in for the mess halls. Every once in a while he would tell stories about the ships of meat that arrived that was years old. The inspectors were USAF Veterinarians, they would okay it. I lived here by Dyess for over 50 years, never heard of an Airman dying from a bad meal at the mess halls.
