Small batch Sunday sausage party

Sunday morning I made some axis, ribeye, bacon and high temp blue cheese sausage. Then the other one is from a seasoning package with was: smoked Gouda, ancho portabella mix. My daughter was super excited to see how sausage is made and was scared to handle the casings.

Looks great! Hope your daughter had fun, we always made sausage as a family growing up still do now, its a lot of work, but a labor of love, always an exciting day. Have to tone down the sausage jokes with the daughter though lol.

Seems like just the other day my oldest daughter was little & helping me make sausage in the kitchen, now she's in her 20's. She didn't like handling the casings either lol.
