Insta-Pot Baby Back Ribs!! - 02/07/21 01:02 AM
The girls are engrossed in a Hallmark movie in the living room, so I can cook un-interrupted. Thinking ribs, fries, and veggies tonight. In process right now!

Did a cup of water with applewood smoke flavor, a little kitchen bouquet, and some Worcestershire sauce. Stand up all the ribs on the little rack. Cooked 30 minutes

What’s up with those carrots? Never seen them before. Scared to ask where you got rainbow carrots lol.

My wife grows them every summer, cause they tolerate the cold and do good here. Just seed packs. In the grocery, they are in small packs, usually by the sweet mini-peppers. May have to check the organic side of the produce aisle.
Funny thing, if you boil them they turn the water black, and lose some of their bright color. They work really good in the microwave, or as roasted carrots on a pan with olive oil and spices.

my wife loves my Instant Pot pork ribs, so stinking easy and quick. They are a bit tender for my likings (I like a little tug), almost falls apart if you go a minute too long. I merely finish mine in the oven on broil for 4-6 minutes, just to before the glaze sauce starts to smoke to give them a little char. I posted my recipe somewhere on here before including a homemade rub that works very well that I pieced together from several recipes and then several trials making needed adjustments. Start to finish easily under an hour including prep ... just so easy.
