Brunswick Stew and Yellow Gold!!

Ya just can't take the Georgia out of the boy. One of the things that says South and family to me is Pork BBQ and Brunswick Stew. This is pulled pork, shredded chicken, a little ring sausage, corn, beans, celery, and onions. Deviled eggs, and cornbread. Came together really good, then added in the yellow potatoes to finish and thicken the stew. Mild for the girls, and I doctored a bunch once it was plated.

It was definitely worth the wait!! Colder than heck today, and this was a perfect warm-up.




P.S. - Ya beat me up so bad about my paper plates that I'm gonna have to do some dishes tonight myself.

Had to laugh. Told the wife I wanted to take a picture of the eggs, and she said it would have to be cropped to cut out the empty spaces, 'cause she wasn't waiting!!! We REALLY like 'em too!

Yes Sir! Warm leftover cornbread in a big cup or big bowl, covered with ice cold whole milk.
