Lunch Today - Andouille

Lunch Today - Andouille - 12/08/20 08:49 PM

In the mood for sausage lunch, so grabbed a new one while in the grocery. I usually just do the Aidell's andouille, as they can be found anywhere. Saw this new one there, so decided to give it a whirl. Ding Ding, we have a winner!!!

Fresh baked rolls from the bakery, butter grilled on the flat top with the links, kraut and brown mustard. Was out of my Lays BBQ chips, so tried my wife's imitation STAX chips; that was the only downside of lunch. Too salty!! Good mix of both pepper and cheese in every bite.

Yes, this was a new one on me too. I certainly wouldn’t think it would work well in any of my dishes where you would slice and cook (like gumbo). It was sure good whole, and made a great sammich!!
