Beef - 08/01/20 06:38 PM

Ordered a half beef from a guy that raises American Wagyu. This is one of the sirloins, pretty excited to cook some of these. [Linked Image]

Great minds think alike. Short of spending an arm and leg for Kobe, Wagyu is as good as it gets around here. Can't wait to fire up the grill for this 3-pack of ribeyes!!!

Great marbling for a sirloin. I'll have to try some of that. Grandview is not too far.

$2433

Roughly $7.50/lbs for the processed and vac sealed meat

Main reason I went with this guy specifically, is I'm following the keto diet, with eating a lot of fat making sure you're eating "good" fat is important. Grass fed American Wagyu is loaded with good fat. So the steaks and all the other cuts are just a bonus because I eat a ton of ground beef, and this is some of the best you can get nutritionally. It doesn't hurt that my price being broken apart all of the side I get my ground beef at a slightly higher price than mediocre ground beef, and my steaks are a superior product that are cheaper than what you regularly pay for store bought meat. It's an investment for sure but I won't have to buy beef for a good long while.

Just look at it. You can’t screw that steak up unless you fall asleep while cooking it.
