Ketchup
Used my last glazing my meatloaf last week. Just made my weekly trip to HEB and found this. I don't remember when I bought my last bottle of ketchup. I generally only used it on my hash browns but never on my burger. I've always thought of ketchup on burgers was for yankees and democrats. Are you particular about brands? Where do you use it? How often?
On a burger I’ll either go Mustard only(low salt diet), or cheat and do a Mayo/Ketchup mix. I’m neither a Yankee or Democrat Bill. I prefer the Spicy Whataburger brand.

We don’t eat that crap in this house! Neither the wife or I care for it on anything.

my daughter in law could drink ketchup straight out of the bottle I think, she puts it on just about everything except dessert. I don't use a lot of ketchup myself, on top of meat loaf, sometimes on fries, tater tots, onion rings and on a burger if it's dry.

Great for making spicy seafood sauce with lots of horseradish, for extra kick. Other than that, I don't have much use for the stuff. I prefer spicy brown mustard for most things American and Hatch Green Chile for Mexican.

Also, HEB was fully stocked and I got a parking space next to the shopping cart rack. My lucky day.

The Spicy Whataburger is where it's at, I don't eat ketchup on anything except for fries every once and a while.

Ketchup contains too much sugar. We use a picante sauce instead of ketchup.

I never check the expiration dates but that one bottle will last me over two years.

We normally buy Heinz but Whataburger ketchup is legit and I like the spicy a little better too.

Fries, Bill you need to watch Molly Schuyler drink 7, 22 ounce bottles in a couple of minutes. 10lbs. She’s a pro. Eater. I can’t say I like it that much.

I know you don’t have to, but keeping ketchup in the fridge makes it taste better over the life of the bottle.

My wife used to use a lot of ketchup on different things, but has fallen in love with Chik-Fil-A lately and loves their sauce much better. Here's the recipe for it that she got off the Web, super easy and lasts a long time..
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup barbecue sauce
3 Tbsp honey
2Tbsp yellow mustard
2 tsp lemon juice
Heinz unless I'm at Whataburger, then Spicy WB.

It actually has some horseradish in it, but I put a lot more in. Also lemon, Tabasco, salt and a dash of wooster sauce.
A bottle of ketchup (or a handful of the little packets) and a few Allsup's burritos, awesome!

That’s what’s what, right there.

I just had a meatloaf sandwich on Texas toast with melted cheese for lunch. A little squeeze of the ketchup made it perfect.

Hunts for the best in ketchup. Chili sauce for seafood sauce and thousand island.

Chili sauce goes on meatloaf. Not ketchup.
