Backstrap, 'taters and salad - 04/18/20 01:07 PM
Pulled some backstrap out of the freezer and after it thawed, let it soak in a soy-based marinade for about 3 hours. Whupped up some red 'taters and smashed 'em. Made a salad with lettuce, onions, and grape tomatoes. Rapid-cooked the backstrap on the grill at high heat for 2 minutes on each side, laid those babies beside the 'taters, set the salad bowl out, poured a large glass of Merlot, and pigged out, big time!
