Gizzards for lunch

They were awesome. Cleaned, soaked in Buttermilk after Seasoning. Then Seasoned Flour and a little corn starch.

Dip them in jalapeño juice. Also good with fried livers.

Yep Used to get them in Wichita that way at the Chicken Box. Sure were good!

I like them.Squeeze lime or lemon juice on them as you go. That was great bar food in West Texas for a time along with liver. Never fails with seasoned cream gravy either. I also know putting these on fried food seems strange to some .

Only thing better than fried gizzards os fried livers. Like them with gravy or a little jalepeno ketchup.

Oh hell yes, love some gizzards with cream gravy!!

My mother would fry gizzards and make mashed potatoes and cream gravy. load a plate and then dip the gizzards in the potatoes and gravy.

yep, love fried gizzards, hearts and liver ... growing up we saved the gizzards and hearts from our dove too.

there's a little convenience store in east Austin at the corner SE of Decker Lane and Loyola that has a little fry kitchen that makes really good gizzards and livers, but be sure to get them fresh cooked.

Best ones I ever had were at Mary's in Strawn..... the Absolute Best i have ever eaten!!!! I bet there were 100 of them on that platter and I ate every last one of them!!

Worth repeating, I like them that much!
