Made Goose Burgers last night

They were a hit!!
Just made the recipe up on my own.

Ground 3 goose breasts along with 2 pieces of bacon, 2 Jalapenos, half of a red bell pepper, fiesta fajita seasoning, one egg and panko bread crumbs to make the burgers stick together.

Added one piece of pepper jack cheese and cooked them on the Traeger with fresh kaiser buns.

Highly recommend this way to eat geese. They look a little darker on the outside but they were medium in the inside.

I'd give that a shot....

I put a pic in the original post but I think im making them again in a bit. Ill take more pics through the process and post more if I do. Here's another from last night.

They taste like venison burgers constancy wise.

From tonight. These do do not taste like waterfowl, Im so pumped to add this to the wildgame recipes for the fam.

Burgers were Canada's but I did Specks the other day (grilled) and they were great. I think you're good regardless.

we dont even shoot geese anymore around here because none of us can stand eating them. THIS however looks interesting and just might put a a few geese down for a try.
