air fryer/dehydrator

has anyone used and air fryer to make their deer jerky.

I don’t think that would work so well. Seems that the air fryer would just cook the meat until it a dry and burnt.

I get that part, but some of them have a dehydrator built in them also. Wondered if the extra cost would be worth having the fryer or just getting a dedicated dehydrator. Sorry I didn't ask the question properly.

Do they even make an air fryer large enough to make it worth your time to make a decent amount of jerky?

Thats kind of why I was asking if anyone had done it before. I realy dont know. Was curious
