Breakfast For Supper - 11/05/19 02:49 AM
Had a crazy afternoon today. It was also my turn to cook. Wife and I trade cooking duties back and forth since we both work.
I opted to make breakfast for supper. Eggs, bacon, and home made biscuits was fast, simple and my wife and I both enjoy the meal.
What made this meal different was I used a new to me biscuit recipe. I found the recipe on the King Arthur Flour website.
Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Place the cooking rack in the top 1/3 of the oven.
Mix 1 1/2 cups self rising flour with
3/4 cup heavy cream.
Optional is to add about 1/4 teaspoon salt to the dough.
If the mix is a little dry and crumbly add more cream a tablespoon at a time.
Either spoon into a cooking pan or roll out to about 3/4 inch thick and cut.
Bake about 15 minutes.
