Bacon,cheese,crispy potato crown,jalapeño

Saw this recipe here on Forum and wanted to try them for my family.
I’m on a diet, so I did not eat one, but my family said they are delicious!

Seasoned with fajita seasoning and a little brown sugar on top like recipe said.

Wow. I will never make these. If I made 50 of them. I'm pretty sure I would eat 50 of them. Good on you for holding out.

Did you bake them or fry them?

Baked them at 400 for about 40 minutes

I did not use a high temp cheese.
A bunch ran out and formed a cruchy,cheesy crisp on bottom.
Some of the crispy/slightly burnt cheese stick to the foil and my wife was pulling it off and eating it too.
It even looked good.

I used a cheddar cheese on mine and they had the cheesy crisp on bottom as well....and it was delicious! None of it went to waste.

thanks, I have got to give this a try ... I am always looking for stuff like this for various parties we host as finger foods ...

Was the tator frozen or room temp?

It was a potato crown, like a flat tator tot.
They were frozen.

Bet those would be good on the smoker
