Pork Loin with Peaches

Pork Loin with Peaches - 06/07/19 12:31 PM

My wife brought home a box of peaches on Wednesday. It looks like my wife will be doing some canning this weekend.

Inspiration hit me so I decided to surprise wife with supper already cooked when she arrived home from work on Thursday.

I sliced a chunk of pork loin into thick chops. I seasoned the chops with salt and pepper then seared the chops in a skillet. I added about a 1/4 cup of diced onion and three diced up fresh peaches. I added a bit of white wine and vegetable broth. I popped on the lid, lowered the fire to a simmer and cooked the pork about 30 minutes turning the meat occasionally.

I served the meat with a baked potato and seasoned green beans.
