Only way I ever ate chuck was in a pot roast. Let me know how they came out.

Chuck eye steak is the poor mans ribeye. I always liked them. Don't see them much at the grocery stores.

Chuck eyes are excellent. I think the butchers must take most of them nowadays or something.

I grew up in a big family & my mom bought a lot of round steaks. She cooked them all kinds of ways & I never remember them being tough. My favorite was swiss steak, stewed with onions & bell peppers. Yum!

Dad bbq'd many a chuck roast & they all tasted really good but were a bit tough. No one ever complained & loved the "treat" of getting bbq! For sure, dad was no cook!
