Our square pan is the designated cornbread pan. In 44 years, I can't remember ever using it for anything else.

If you have an appropriateley sized one it will do four grilled cheeses at a time too.

This one is 12", it will handle 4 grill cheese I bet. Works great for pancakes so far also. We don't cook grill cheese a whole lot for some reason and when we do the little round cast iron in the back stays on the stove. Use it almost daily.
I have a large round cast iron skillet - 12" also I'm guessing - at work that I use for cornbread, handles a double recipe no problem. I cut cornbread into squares, whats funny is square cornbread in a round pan doesn't bother me one bit.

I have a square skillet that my son found at a garage sale and then gave it to me for a Christmas present. My skillet has a single handle.
I like the looks of your skillet with its two handle set up so that a corner makes a good pouring spout.

You're right about it pouring well, the offset handle is nice. This is the one I have. Imported and the surface is a little rough but that will work out over time. Right now it stays on the stove top with my round griddle.
