With scratch cornbread, Blackeyed peas, and chow-chow. It's been too long. I'm stuffed.

The cornbread was perfect. Which side would you have used for your presentation?

I had jalapeņos in my chow-chow. I'm starting to freeze and save leftover cornbread for my thanksgiving dressing. See the curl on the edges of the cornbread? All great southern cooks know that you never put your oil in the mix. You pour it into a hot pan. The curl comes up immediately. Those peas were given to me already shelled back in the summer. I cooked the full gallon down with two ham hocks and froze them in pint size bags.
