Commercial Jerky - 04/08/16 06:31 PM

We have a small convenience store and our jerky supplier retired. Looking for a new supplier. Anyone make jerky commercially?

I have no affiliation with them, but in a few places around here you can get Oma's Choice beef jerky. My favorite is the Old-fashioned style with pecan smoke. In my opinion, their jerky is authentic and nothing like the insipid Jack Links jerky that most places sell.

You might check with them on prices and availability for resale.

No affiliation with Ranger Meat Co, but have enjoyed jerky from then for several years. Some stores out that way sell it. Good jerky.

I used to order a lot of Jerky from this place. I found their booth at a TTHA show about 20 yrs ago and tried their jerky. I was always really good. http://www.texasbestbeefjerky.com/index.php

I've been buying from Fischers in Muenster for many years. Dang good but over $50 per pound retail. No idea whether they make it there.

I clicked all 3 links. I know shipping will be extra and that can get expensive these days.

Omas choice: 6 ct for $26. pricy

Texas Best: $32 per pound

Praseks: $42 per pound

might also check Miller's in Belton and Llano (not sure if they are affiliated with each other). A friend of mine buys all her jerky from some place out west ... I'll see if I can find out the name and or contact info.
