sika and elk

I understand that Sika deer are actually a member of the elk species.

I have tasted Sika and it is delicious, much more than white tail IMO.

I have not tasted elk.

Does it taste like Sika?

Id say they are pretty much all the same and anyone claiming a difference is being influenced by what they were told.
