I do my own jerky, but I always borrow my cousins, I'm tired of being a burden, so I want to pick one up. I'm wanting to stay around $100...anything over that I feel is too much for how little I will use it.

I have a nesco brand. See link below. Think I got it at bass pro. I would recommend it.

Thank you! Looking at Nesco brand and Waring, it's the only two I know of that people have used in the past.

I have an American Harvest with some extra racks that I use for jerky, dehydrating peppers etc. It's been a good one!

lay a fan face down and lay the jerky on the back of the fan...works like a charm

I use an Excalibur. Very happy with it.

You may be able to find used ones in that price range.

I just gave my grandsons my old 5 tray (bought used) because I found a 9 tray. I called Excalibur for parts availability on the 5 tray in case they ever need it. It is over 20 years old & still going strong. It is a discontinued model. Go figure.

I have 2 Nesco brand and they work fine. 10 to 12 hrs for jerky.
