We have had a jagd terrier for at least 8 years. She is an incredible blood tracker and she is also a wonderful house dog and companion. Very protective and absolutely fearless. I can't trust her around small animals until she gets to know them, but our 3 barn cats are her best buddies. Best dog we've ever owned and we've had some good ones.

She killed a coon in the yard about a month ago just before daylight. She was raising heck so I let her out the front door. She quickly treed the coon in a small tree. I knocked it out of the tree and she pounced and caught it by the back of the neck as soon as it hit the ground. Very tough dog!
