March 3, 2021- Ammunition Reloading Class 101. Includes dinner! 6 pm to 9 pm- $129

By request, Custom Reloads is now offering Ammunition Reloading Classes in our new Carrollton, TX location. Reloading 101 is for the basics of reloading. In this class, we go over the basics of reloading. This class will offer some "hands on" experience with you behind the press, with dummy ammunition rounds showing die set up for sizing and bullet seating. Literature hand outs will be provided for you to take notes with and take home once class is complete. Come with questions, and we'll answer them all!
Some of the covered topics:
Case prep- new brass and sizing fired brass, die set up
Priming- options and selection
Powder options and selection
Bullet selection, bullet seating, COAL and Ogive measurements
Press options (single stage vs progressive)
Scales and weighing powder
We will start at 6 pm and go til 9 pm. Dinner will be provided. Jimmy Johns will be delivered at the start of the class, (https://www.jimmyjohns.com/menu/) and I will provide additional chips and drinks. Please see the Jimmy Johns menu and let me know which sandwich # you would like. Include your sandwich selection in the "Order Notes" at check out!!! Due to Covid, masks will be required and we will social distance, clean equipment, and sanitize tools/ammunition. Class size will be limited to 6 people, max. An email will be sent out ahead of the class for full class details, address, and any additional information.
