Burger King - again

Burger King - again - 04/14/21 05:50 PM
Left the barbershop at 11:45 and saw the BK sign. I do like that Original Chicken Sandwich, and the parking lot was empty (shocking, I know), so over there I went. Not a soul in the dining area, and 2 trucks in the drive through. Almost 10 minutes later I still hadn’t had a chance to order. I reckon that’s about it for me and BK. I will send a note to their corporate office, for what that’s worth. I ate at Subway. 6” tuna sandwich.

Couldn’t get waited on? And they want $15 an hour minimum wage.
I would have said something.

Thanks for the warning. I will be ever vigilant.

I don't need a warning about BK.
An empty fast food place during lunch hour is never a good sign.

I thought we settled a while back that Burger King sucks. Worst or the worst when it comes to fast food burgers.

I can barely idle at the red light by our closest ones without puking at the smell.
As far as wanting 15.00 an hour for doing nothing, we're only in the beginning stages of certain folks wanting money for nothing. And, they want what you have. On this current path, they're gonna be allowed to take it too.

Jumbo Jack with cheese for me. I like the size as well as the fixings.

They don't wait on customers because they aren't used to people going there to eat.

There's slow service at a lot of eating places. The former employees don't have to pay rent and the government is paying them to stay home.
I stopped at the one in Seguin on 46 just south of 10 on Sunday....30 freaking minutes. After getting to talk to the dream of a cashier at the drive thru, I am pretty sure she was high. As I looked in all the other employee's were working pretty quick to get food ready. The only I stopped there as it was the only place that didn't have a stupid long line, this was at 2:30 pm.

Recently I decided I wanted a chocolate shake. BK was across the street, and no line at the drive through. Ordered the shake and was told that they hadn’t put the machine together. Geez. Went to Sonic and then realized that I couldn’t stick my left arm out to push the red button. Oooookay. Went to WB. I’m having a da__ shake, by golly. Well, WB was packed and the drive through was 50 yards long. Service was fast though, and I got my shake. Mighty good.
How long can BK survive in Mexia? Ya gotta wonder.

Stopped at BK several years ago while passing through Waco. Got a burger and chocolate shake. Must have been some bad milk used, barely made it to the first available public restroom in Temple. No more shakes from BK for me!

Their food and their politics both suck. Freaking gay whopper SMH.

It's confused for sure.
I travel extensively and generally eat at whatever fast food place is not out of the way. BK isn't the worse but the restaurants always seem to be dirtier than others. Any south of Corpus are terrible, and some stink.

Re: Burger King - again - 08/15/21 01:43 AM
Burger King must be a money laundering operation for the cartel. They just built a new one in Crossroads. It's next to a Chick Fil A. While i was at Chick Fil A nobody ever entered the BK. Not to dine in or the drive thru. They have to have a couple million $ sunk in that location. No way it makes money. BK and Popeye's are the worst.

"Whoah whoah whoah! I love Popeye's."
I like the chicken but the service and the cleanliness is just not there enough for me to go back. It seems to be systemic because I've tried other locations and they all suck. I'm done giving Popeye's one more chance.

I can't think of another fast food chain that I'd rank lower than BK. I liked them way back in the day, like in the 80's.

It's been about 7-8 months since I've eaten at a fast food chain place. Before that it was probably abut 3-4 months. I like to seek out the little hole-in-the-wall local restaurants - you get to learn a lot about the local people that way!
