I have heard mixed reviews on it.
Jack county rancher I know use to go there some and liked it, based off that I recommended it to my neighbor who went and did not like it. I have heard others on here give it a thumbs down.

I’d go to Casa Torres first. Sweetie Pies is just adequate. Get the thick cut and maybe it won’t be overcooked.

Run on down to Boyd and go to GoGo Gumbo. Sweetie Pies Ribeyes is just OK in my opinion.

Call Go Go first. They’re open odd hours.

Sweetie Pies is filler, not bad, but just kind of meh.

This was on here not too long ago...as stated; meh at best. The CFS is not terrible, but has a tendency to be grisly since it's a ribeye and they don't trim it up very well. Grilled steaks are crap..cuts too thin and poor quality imo. They would be better served to change it to a Babe's chicken house since they are the same owners. If they were serious about being a steakhouse, they would buy their meat from the local butcher Wise Choice Custom Meats. Top notch that place.

Casa Torres is the better spot in town. Ask for the hot green salsa. Dynamite. Beef steak encebollado, chile relleno, and enchiladas are all better than most. I like to go there on Friday's, grab a few drinks and eat a good meal. The owners are hard working people, always there and I like supporting those type of people.

I like food.

Casa Torres best plate is the Pork and Cactus or Puerco y Napalito.

Ya'll talked me out of it. We were a little later than I expected so we just hauled butt on home and just ate some nachos for dinner after we got all our stuff put up and dogs fed and settled. I wish 407 was open on sundays, then i would never have to question where to eat when I'm going to be on the west side of Dallas. Always seems to be a Sunday.

GoGo is "off the hook", some of the tastiest, freshly cooked food I have ever tasted. That classic cuisine trained chef owner knows his craft well...

Sorry you didn’t like it. I had the Pork and Cactus recently too. It was still good. I’ll try the fish soup (encebollado) next cold day we’re there.

I am referring to the beef encebollado...grill steak with cheese and jalapeños....served with Mexican potatoes and beans. I like it there.

I’ve been to see Bryan twice lately. Finished my Boss Hog last night. He’s too busy to care I figure. I’m actually equidistant from both places. We visit each regularly.

I'm never so busy I don't care, you know that. I even came and sat at the THF gathering last week. I'll always love you Keith nuts
