Cook your catch in Galveston ???? - 07/09/19 03:44 AM
Heading down there end of August, staying at a friends condo on the beach called Seascape. Anyway, I think I have a list of great places to eat. All I want is FRESH CAUGHT SEAFOOD !!! No frozen crap off the back of a Sysco truck.
Question !!??
Which restaurants will cook the fish you catch yourself? I'm going out with a well known guide, hope to at least catch enough trout and red drum for a big meal.
I've heard Jimmy's Pier, I sent them an email asking.

Have not been to Galveston in forever, watch out for the cougars on the prowl for younger prey
The only thing I have heard about Galveston currently is bad rip tides, have fun

Off Topic-
We just got back from Galveston and on a whim had Millers on the SeaWall for breakfast on our way out. I had seen the building my whole life but never ate there. I'd have to say that is the best breakfast if not best meal I have had in a very long time.....

Try sunflower Bakery for Breakfast. Heard that the Old time Candy store on the strand is one of the best places for breakfast. The Cajun Greek used to have some damn good seafood, nothing fancy just good seafood.
