How about Allen Texas??

How about Allen Texas?? - 02/13/19 10:44 PM

I've given up on McKinney, besides The Chop House , I cant find anything .

SO, we can drive down to Allen. This is for family from Austin which is covered in really cool "independent" eateries.

So in Allen, I'm thinking BJ's, trying to keep it in this middle price range, Around Stacy Road, Cabelas area???

Uhhh help

Or take 121 down to Preston and go to La Hacienda Ranch. Love La Hacienda...

You don't care for Hutchin's BBQ in McKinney?

PK knows what he is talking about, some of the best Italian food i've had anywhere.

For Tex Mex Chepa's (also great for Brucnch on the weekends) or Anna Sofias

For Breakfast Eggsquisite, but I think they have one in McKinney and Frisco, but it's still a local place.

As for the Village area it's mainly chain food, the only place there that is local would be Kelly's which I do enjoy.

BBQ you're better off staying in McKinney with Hutchins, but if your guests are from Austin they already live in the BBQ Mecca.

Get their dish called, " The whole enchilada". Great meal with everything you want. Real good margaritas too. Love that place. Their stuffed bear at front door is impressive.

There used to be a ' La hacienda' north on Preston in Frisco. Not sure if it's still there.

Frisco location is still open. No need to drive south.
