My brother and I went to Ten50 for lunch today. We had high hopes, but we both left disappointed. I ordered the fatty brisket, turkey, St. Louis style ribs, and jalapeņo cheddar sausage. Brisket was okay and had a nice smoke ring, but it really didn't have much of a smoky flavor. Turkey was extremely bland and didn't have even a hint of smoke. Ribs were tender, but didn't have much in the flavor department. The lone bright spot in the meat department was the jalapeņo cheddar sausage. It was a course grind sausage and was extremely flavorful. The corn and fries were excellent, but I don't think good sausage and good sides will make me want to make a return visit.

I stopped the other day. It was pretty good. I got there at 5:00pm, 1st in line . Brisket was good and jalapeno cheese sausage was real good.

I ate there last week. Looks like a Hard Eight copycat. Brisket and ribs were OK. I don't think I'd go too far out of my way to get there again. A bit pricey. My lunch was $20.00 with one side and soft drink. The hostess was cute. That made up for some of it.

same old thing, typical for the people who own it, chain restaurant people, trust me on this, people with lots of money and lots of marketing power.

I would suggest Lockhart up the road in Plano, much better...IMO

I agree on Lockart's. I ate there yesterday and had brisket. Definitely better than 10/50. I didn't care for the deviled eggs. They were very bland. Will try the burnt ends and potato salad next trip.

Pecan Lodge is by far the best BBQ by a mile in DFW! Lockharts and Hutchins are tied for second place. I was disappointed in 10/50 which is a Hard 8 copycat but not as good! The joint was really cool with plenty on tap craft beers! The sides, atmosphere, and beer was all great. The BBQ was average at best!
