enlarged mammary area

Any dog breeders here ? My Aussie has an enlarged Mammary area, it is not hard, as a lump, totally soft, just noticed as she had a close cut and we noticed it... She h as been speyed and is 14 yrs old.

Might be cancer. My pointer had it which the vet removed when she was around 5. She died at 15.

At 14, I think I'd just let it go and give the dog a nice end of life.

also possible in-grown hair or some other annoyance.

Hooker - get her to the vet and let them check it out. We lost our cocker (worthless indoor variety) at the end of May to a tumor like you’re describing. Caveat - they could’ve operated on an otherwise healthy dog and they would’ve survived but ours had an underlying heart condition that made the surgery to risky.
