Dog Surpassing Expectations - 12/14/19 03:44 PM

Haven’t been able to get on many hunts this year, but was able to slip away last night for an evening hunt, just me and the pup. Got set up around 4 o’clock without much flying, then was able to pick up a single ruddy, sails half way across the pond crippled. She chased this bird for almost 3 minutes before finally catching up to it and never gave up. Throughout training we have hit some road bumps along the way, but I think the lightbulb if finally switching over. Though it’s just one bird these are the retrieves that’s make it memorable.

Keep birds in their mouth and you will make a dog. Forrest
