X100 don’t buy your wife a dog you can’t hunt with! Talk with Bobby on the forum about where to get a good cocker. A French Brittany is another good option if you wan a calm dog that points. I had this one in the blind with me tonight and in the morning she’ll be pointing a covey. The sorry bitch wants to be a house mutt. She rode around with me all day making sales calls and I heard several times. “I need a dog like that!” From my customers.
