If you don't want diamond plate, the gold standard is Ruff Tuff/
https://rufflandkennels.comexpensive, but close to bullet proof. Only drawback is they don't break down for storage.
It will outlast your dog.

If you go metal, get one that has a closable vent in the back and a slide or closable vent on the door. You also want a good lock so peta crazies don't open your kennel in a parking lot. Many come with insulation. Often insulation is torn up by the first dog in the box if it isn't protected. If you go with one of the heavier metal kennels bulld a table with some plywood and saw horses so you can slide the box in and out of the bed of the truck without ripping our back.
