I won't have my buddy by my side this year......
He was especially good for Dove hunting, he'd retrieve the dove after i shot. And he was good company on a cold night of Coyote hunting.
He was 10 1/2 years old, We think he had a seizure. I was just out of diapers when he was born...

crying Sorry to hear about your loss.

Our Jake is starting to slow down, and he has bad mornings when he doesn't get moving until lunchtime. But other days he's out playing with the pup. Its tough to watch them age. It seem like he just came home with us yesterday, until I remember our oldest was not in High School then, and she's been at college for 5 years now.
